Looking for a Loco and Carriages

My name is Russ Gowen.  I am looking for either a petrol or diesel loco (but not steam,) although a steam outline engine is o.k. In 10.25 inch gauge.  Plus a couple of sit in carriages.
These are required for a train ride at a retail centre.
If you can help, please email me initially.
Many thanks
Russ

MEMBER LOOKING FOR INFORMATION PLEASE

The enquiry concerns the Roger Marsh designed 0-6-0 ‘stretched’ Romulus tender engine named ‘Margaret’ that visited the Queen Mary’s Hospital Railway in 1976. There is footage of the visit by Cromer White with their engine on Youtube:-

Or search :- Queen Mary’s Railway – The Early Years.

Two similar 10.25″ gauge engines were built by Roger Marsh and sold through Cromer White. No.69 ‘Marie’ became Arthur Pay’s engine of which I know something about its whereabouts, but the second, named ‘Margaret’ disappeared possibly to an American buyer (according to various published details). If the engine at Queen Mary’s was numbered 70 it is highly likely she went to America, but I have no proof as to Margaret’s number. That is the piece of information I need to complete my search.

Additionally there was an 0-4-0 ‘Romulus’ in a BR black style livery that visited the Queen Mary line later and was rumoured to have been sold for use on a line in Kent – any details on that ‘lost’ engine would also be appreciated.

If you have any information that will help Peter, please email the webmaster:- david@ferrymeadowsrailway.co.uk and your email or telephone will be past on.
